The Bephies Beauty Supply x Union x Women’s Air Jordan 1 Elevate High “Summer ‘96” is a collaboration by Beth Gibbs’ streetwear brand, the Los Angeles retailer, and Jordan Brand on a women’s-exclusive colorway of the lifestyle shoe. Bephie’s Beauty Supply is a clothing brand founded by Union LA owner Chris Gibbs’ wife, Bethany. The brand’s Jordan 1 High Elevate gives a unique look to the Jordan 1 High Elevate by meshing its design with the Nike Air Footscape. More specifically, the shoe fuses the Jordan 1’s original leather design with the woven textile design of the Air Footscape. A Kinetic Green Swoosh appears on the sides and an orange “Wings” logo can be found on the collar. Other details include a yellow “UN/LA” tab on the collar and an old school “Nike Air” logo on the tongue tag. The shoe’s deconstructed appearance is reminiscent of Union’s Air Jordan 1 collaborations from 2018. Release date: August 26, 2023
