The Rotella ELC corrosion inhibitor system provides outstanding protection against the effects of extreme heat, rust, and corrosion. While providing complete cooling system component protection, Shell Rotella ELC’s patented inhibitors also help reduce water pump failures, hard water scale deposits, and silicate “green goo” as well as improve heat transfer. Tests with Shell Rotella ELC show that heat transfer is about 8 percent better than with conventional heavy duty, silicate-containing coolants.
